I’ve got a confessions to make and I’m not the least bit ashamed. I am in love with fall hats this season. Yes, as you can probably tell, I have recently been obsessed with this brown floppy hat and have found a way to sneakily throw it into almost every one of my fall outfits this year!
What can a hat like this can do for your look?
Honestly, you have the power to turn the plainest, simplest, or even most boring outfit into something so fashionable, you won’t even recognize yourself in the mirror. How? A funky hat!
I used to reserve the act of wearing hats for cute winter beanies and the occasional baseball cap when the weather is really warm in the summer. But there is a whole style of hats that fall somewhere in between these and thats the Autumnal hat.
Sometime hats like these can remind you of costume hats, and I think that’s why I shied away from them for so long. But as soon as I tried to seriously incorporate them into my wardrobe, I found that it doesn’t make me look nourish and clown-like, but rather sets me apart from all the basic sweater wearing girls who are all sporting the same fall looks!
Samples of other fall hats would be the floppy wool like style hat that I’m featuring in most of my outfits this fall, to a cute little baker boy cap (something that I cannot pull off).
Other advantages of a cute fall hat would be:

- Cool cowgirl role-play
- covering the bald spot you keep working because of that test you haven’t studied for
- Hiding from that really bad first date that just so happens to be your neighbor.
