If you’re anything like me, then you spare no expense of time and effort when it comes to the holidays and the holiday season. But if you’re anything like me, you’re a broke college student who can’t quite afford to foot the bill of a large decorating job in your college dorm room or apartment.

So how do you decorate for fall on a budget?
Cheap decorations! There are a number of ways to make cheaper decorations look classy. Take the pumpkin for example. Real pumpkins go anywhere from $1 to $5 and usually not much more. Fake, ceramic, glittered and glossed pumpkins can cost literally up to $30+! That’s outrageous! And at the end of the day, which of the two look more authentic?

And where do you find these cheap decorations?
Literally anywhere. My magical answer is the Dollar Tree. They have a great selection of decorations that are VERY cheap, easy to work with, and perfect for any low budget decorating fun. But that seems a little subjective. Anywhere you go will have cheaper items on display for you to buy, you just need to choose the right spots in your place to put them, and know how to work them decorative angles!!

Just because you’re browsing the dollar section doesn’t mean you have to give up on your decorating fever! It just means you have to get more crafty.

Below I have included some of my own decorating this year, all of which has come straight from the Dollar Tree and Amazon!
