So you’re going to LA? Well first off, great choice. LA is one of those super fun cities where it is really hard to have a bad time once you’re there. But while it is never lacking in fun places to go, it can sometimes be overwhelming by the sheer amount of “must-see” attractions the city holds!
That is why I am here to give you the most instagrammable, re-pinable, double tappable locations that Los Angeles has to offer!
The Santa Monica Pier
A classic to say the least. The Santa Monica Pier and Beach is a long strip of beach front meets city shopping center meets amusement park! With one side of the street holding pretty shops and yummy restaurants and the other side holding the fun pier that overlooks the beach AND houses an amusement park, you will never fall short of an instagrammable moment here.
Attractions On The Pier
No, I am not trying to be cheeky here, the actual Santa Monica Pier and beach are awesome and the businesses around the pier and beach are equally as awesome, not to mention picture worthy! Pictured below is a food truck with only jacked up French fries and the cutest restaurant front I’ve ever seen, both located within 0.5 miles of the boardwalk!
The Beverly Hills Hotel
Next up we’re going to go back in time a bit to when everything is was “groovy” and “rad”! Yep the forever retro and not to mention beautiful Beverly Hills Hotel is up next! Honestly, this may have been one of my favorite destinations of the trip! With its pretty pink and green structures and just being up in the Hills, you couldn’t ask for a more classic and picturesque experience!

Melrose Ave.
This is another hot shot when it comes to LA Destinations! With All the murals and unique boutiques that line Melrose Avenue, it’s hard not to want to jump in on the trend and pose in front of every single one! Here are a few that are easy to spot as you walk up and down the street!
Palm Lined Streets
Take me to LA! This is CLASSIC LA if you ask me. Whenever I think of California, I think of the classic palm lined streets. It took me a while to find the perfect ones and honestly the trick is to head to Beverly Hills. On top of the beautiful houses and the beautiful hotel pictured above, Beverly Hills is home to all the perfect semetrical and instagrammable palm lined streets! I found these bad boys on Hillcrest Rd. But honestly drive around Beverly Hills and you’ll come across more beautiful streets than you can count!
Venice Beach Sign
This has to be another favorite of mine. I know, by now I should just confess that they are all my favorites, but I mean come on! How fun to have an excuse to run around in the middle of the street to get “the shot” and not get chastised for it. Only in LA guys! Only in LA!
You can find this cute sign right in the heart of Venice Beach before you head on over down the boardwalk to enjoy some music, $5 henna, and food!

Rodeo Drive
I mean, it’s Rodeo Drive! Why else?

Griffith Observatory
This is a great place to mix wonder and creativity! Griffith Observatory is equal parts educational as it is scenic. With interesting exhibits about the planets and activity in the galaxy as well as outstanding views of the City of Los Angeles as well as the Hollywood sign, Griffith is a must see and must do during your time in LA!

Sprinkles Cupcake ATM
I love this little gem (so much that I wrote an entire review on it)! There are Sprinkles ATMs in a lot of different states but there is something about the California ones that just make a cupcake coming out of a machine that much more wondrous! I found this one in a Pasedena outdoor mall! Other popular areas that have them are downtown LA and Beverly Hills!

Chinatown LA
There’s always a chinatown, it seems like! This one just so happens to literally transport you into a Chinese style market and y’all I swear it is so fun! I am a lover of Chinese culture and had the best time exploring the ins and outs of Chinatown LA!

In and Out Burger
Talk about a western classic! I had never had In and Out Burger before this trip to LA and I gotta say, I’m glad I tried it! Although I do still love my Five Guys Burger a bit more, In and Out has got the entire vibe going for them! I knew I just couldn’t leave LA without getting this shot!

Random Places
Alrighty! Last but not least, I am choosing to leave you with a little advice! Plan your trip (and your photos) but stay open to the possibilities for new and exciting discoveries! Sometimes things (and inspiration) just pop out at you! I snapped this retro juke box picture while at the infamous Mels Diner for lunch and then I was craving a donut and this was the closet shop in the GPS, how cute?

That’s all I got y’all!
The Sprinkles ATM is in Glendale not Pasadena. It’s at the Americana.
Thanks for this guide, it is really helpful, and your pictures are awesome.
