Brace yourselves, because my next words very well might be a declaration of war. Guys, I’ve wrestled with this felling for such a long time, but I don’t think I like Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
I know, mic drop.
As you all know, I’m ALL about Fall! I love getting into the season, getting into the trends, and diving straight into what I like to call the “pre-holidays”. And along with that I love seeing all the pumpkins around and trying all the festive drinks offered. Pumpkin Spice is one of the all time most popular flavors of the fall/winter seasons and somehow in all these years I’ve managed to never try it.
But a couple of weeks ago, I did. And I regretfully report that I am underwhelmed. At least the pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks, gave me and over sugared and somehow over pumpkined mix that didn’t sit well in my mouth and made me wish I had ordered my usual Vanilla Chai.
I know this is turning out to be more of a confessional than a blog post, but I found that this was something I just needed off my chest. And I thought I’d let you guys know that, it’s okay to not enjoy the Pumpkin Spice Latte. It doesn’t make you any less festive or any less basic. Don’t worry, your ceramic Starbucks coffee cup privileges will not be revoked.
