Fall fall fall! That’s probably all you’ve been hearing for a while now. I like to think of the Fall as the pre-holiday season. It’s our first chance to start getting into the festive mood and to fall into the themes of the colder months.

One of these themes that I love so much in the fall is the warm Western color palette! This includes brown, tan, cognac, camel, beige, khaki, rust, taupe, and many more! Colors like this go with almost anything and have a knack for blending with the changing colors of the trees around us.

It may seem like so much of the same colors would make for a gross looking blob of poo, but here’s why it works. Neutral colors do just that, neutralize other colors. So with the help of at least one stand out color (in the case of my outfit it’s black), it not only plays up that specific wardrobe piece but will also give your neutral pieces the illusion of doing much more than you ever thought a plain beige skirt could do.
Here are some extra shots of my most Western inspired outfit this season!
